Celebrities are trendsetters, whatever they say, eat, wear or do is wholly consumed by the masses. Sometimes though celebs take things a bit too far… I mean certain things will only work on the red carpet, let’s investigate.
1. Lady Gaga and her meat dress. Always the attention grabber, Lady Gaga accepted an award covered in strips of raw red meat. (Photo courtesy of World Correspondents)
2. Katy Perry and her sushi kimono. Katy Perry is no stranger to wearing food including sushi, suckers and cotton candy. I wonder what she’ll show up in next! (Photo courtesy of Music Fix)
3. Alyssa Milano and her green veggie gown. We all know Pam Anderson’s lettuce bikini, but this is a family site so let’s keep it clean people. Alyssa Milano donned a classy green gown for PETA.
4. Mariah Carey and her cookie costume. Granted this was for Halloween, but Mariah took to the streets covered in mini cookies, and hubby Nick Cannon dressed as the perfect pairing, a carton of milk. (Photo courtesy of Just Jared)
5. Snoop Dogg and his cupcake suit. Last but not least, we can’t forget about the men. Snoop Dogg showed his sweeter side during Katy Perry's music video for California Gurls. He wore a cupcake suit… and I do believe those are candy Rockets rimming his sunglasses too!
So let me know, would you ever try one of these fashion risks, or should we just leave these to the professionals?
